Sure, AI images are slick, gorgeous and super easy to produce.
But it’s a cheap trick.

Publications, Advertising and Design are now looking uniform and shallow.
They are a race to the mean – boring, predictable and stylistically common.
They offer no spark of inspiration, no surprise, no delight or joy.

The Main Thing about Art should be its humanity: unpredictable, sensual, visceral and full of hope, joy and goodness.

When the uniformed, grey men captured the creative industries, they took Art and turned it into a science. Now, without the human touch AI Art merely cements the vision of the Post Modernist. Left to its own devices AI art will confirm humanity’s utter meaninglessness, futility & despair.

The Main Thing about our existence is the pursuit of meaning through the arts.
We can choose to rage against the machine or go quietly into the night.
