A Fisherman’s Tale is a song by Carly Simon about love and loss. I was introduced to this haunting esoteric song by a friend Norman Wheatley who has a podcast called G3. Norman is a retired radio presenter who still prepares really interesting podcasts about music and musings that draw together music and greater understanding of its impact.
After listening to the song a number of times I was inspired to use a blue base colour and work into an out of it in low lights and highlights. The result was quite spectacular. As you can see…
